EXMAX 50 is used to treat schizophrenic disorders, both acute and chronic. The disorders can have both, positive and negative prominent symptoms. The doses should be adjusted to achieve optimal control of positive symptoms in patients with mixed positive and negative symptoms. Oral dose of 50 mg/d is recommended for patients with predominant negative symptoms. The dosage will depend on the individual patient.
